My name is Ben Rock, and I'm an artist based in Manchester under the name SKETCHMCR.

When I was asked to paint the iconic Salford Lads Club to help raise funds, I jumped at the chance. I was inspired to capture a typical day in Salford, reflected through a puddle, with vibrant colours and reflections that bring the scene to life.

The Salford Lads and Girls Club has been transforming lives for over 120 years, offering friendship, learning, and nurturing talent for countless young people.

This fundraiser will support both the local Manchester community and people around the world.

As a creative, I truly believe in the power of art to change lives. I have a personal connection to this building too—recently, I visited an Oasis exhibition here and met the legendary Tony McCarroll.
