OJ's to continue delivering vital family services

Dear Friends,

I'm reaching out to share our story and invite you to join me in making a real difference. I'm raising funds for OJ's Care, an organisation close to my heart, which is experiencing a severe shortage of funding.

OJ's Care is dedicated to providing vital support and opportunities for families who have a child or young person with autism, learning difficulties and/or additional needs. Our mission is simple yet crucial: to keep OJ's services open and to offer essential support to those who need it most.

At OJ's, we understand the challenges faced by our families. That's why we provide a range of activities at our sessions that are designed to cater to the specific needs of individuals with autism and related conditions. But we don't stop there - we involve the whole family, creating safe and understanding environments where everyone can thrive.

Our focus is on weekends and school holidays, times when families often find it difficult to enjoy outings together due to the complexity of their child's disability. By offering our sessions and opportunities for social interaction, we aim to reduce isolation and increase support for families facing these challenges.

I am getting together a team of supporters who will be completing a 10 Peaks Walking challenge in the Lake District on the 30th June, 2024. If you would like to join our team and assist us in securing funds to navigate through this period of uncertainty, please get in touch.
