Oklahoma Covid-19 Remembrance Project

Donation protected

In October 2020, Toby Gregory created a field of crosses in his front yard. One cross for each Oklahoman who has passed away due to COVID-19.

The Oklahoma COVID-19 Remembrance Project has deeply moved the community.  We have been inspired to honor the rising numbers of lives lost during the pandemic through a memorial that we hope will bring healing to our state.

How can you help?

1) You can donate to the campaign.  We are raising funds to purchase more materials and paint to make more crosses.

2) All proceeds from our fundraiser will be going to non-profits supporting local family members who have lost loved ones to the coronavirus. (We will start listing them below and adding links, this week.)

3) We are looking for volunteers to help paint the hundreds of more crosses for this memorial. We currently have about 1,100 completed. We will also need volunteers to help us set up the crosses at the new location.

4) We are looking for an area of land to house the Oklahoma COVID-19 Remembrance Project, through the holidays to January.  The space needs to be around 2,000 square feet.

5) Please share our GoFundMe campaign on social media.
