Accident and Explosion leaves family of five in need of help
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out from Oklahoma City with a heavy heart, seeking support for my sister’s family. They were on their way to Oklahoma to relocate. They were traveling in their truck, van and pull trailer, which was their home, when tragedy struck.
While en route, her husband and kids in truck were hit by a semi in Idaho. The accident flipped their truck and trailer, causing severe damage. Unfortunately, the trailer, along with all of their animals and belongings, exploded.
By the grace of God, they are all alive and safe, with just scrapes and bruises, but they are now left without a home or any of their possessions and have tragically lost their pets. The children are ok but are suffering severe trauma at this time.
Luckily my sister was ahead of them driving in the van and was safe. They weren’t given much time to dig through the rubble to gather what was left and were presented with a large towing bill.
They decided to surrender everything and leave in the van which is now their only source of survival and isn’t in the best condition.
They salvaged a few items from the wreck but are now headed here with mainly the clothing on their backs.
They will be arriving in a few days with near nothing, and they need our help.
Your donations will go directly toward meeting their immediate needs: clothing for the family, basic toiletries, bedding, supplies for their homeschooled children (including art supplies, school supplies, and books) Ultimately, we are hoping to help them save up for a new trailer that can house them in the near future to rebuild in Oklahoma.
Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing and spreading the word, is deeply appreciated. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for any help or prayer’s you can offer.
With heartfelt thanks,
