Okoa Refuge Mission Trip

HEY!!! Before I say anything, I want to thank you for simply being on this page and for reading these words. Your time and interest in hearing more about what the Lord has placed on my heart means more than you know. I appreciate you all!

For a long time now, God has placed Uganda on my heart. I always knew it was a place I would someday visit; I just never knew in what capacity. Finally, after months and even years of patiently waiting and listening to the Lord, God answered my prayers. In moving to Jacksonville, I have had the opportunity to get involved with a local nonprofit called Okoa Refuge. Okoa Refuge exists to glorify Christ through stabilizing the family unit and transforming entire communities. Working in many districts across Uganda, Okoa pursues hope and healing through children's programs, church planting, bible schools, local sustainability, and quality healthcare for those in Uganda. This organization, these people, and their work quickly stood out to me and has impacted my heart.

With that, I am excited to share that I will be traveling to Masaka, Uganda with Okoa Refuge this September. On this trip, I will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the ongoing work of this nonprofit, and I could not be more excited! In the coming weeks, I will be fundraising to help support my trip. If interested and able, your contribution and support would be greatly appreciated.
