Oksana Tyutyunik Memorial Fund

Oksana Tyutyunik was a vibrant, funny and endearing human being.  She came from a loving Ukrainian family that spans four generations in Sacramento, CA.  She was the eldest child to parents who loved and adored her, and a big sister to a brother that despite battling a crippling developmental disease, thought the world of his sister.  She was a wonderful and loving wife.  She was the backbone of her entire family, and she was taken far too soon by haunting circumstances no one can explain.  Falling asleep on a seemingly normal Saturday night, Oksana never woke up. 

As the family is struggling to cope with her sudden and unexpected passing, they have been hit with the overwhelming reality of not just accepting that she is gone, but also the painful ritual of laying her to eternal rest. Being only 31 years old, no one would have thought to plan for her funeral so soon, and now her husband and her bereaved parents are desperately trying to do their best to send her off with dignity and care. 

Funds are needed mainly for funeral expenses, which we have found to be far more than we can afford at this time.  The memorial service and funeral was on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 and any donations would make a huge difference in helping our family cover the costs of laying her to rest in a respectful manner that she so deserves. 

All donations will be released to Oksana's husband and her parents to put toward the cost of the funeral.
