Old Dog sees the Ocean

Hi Everyone,

  I am here to raise money to send Steven , aka Old Dog, to the ocean. Steven Carr is 68 years old and has never seen the ocean. Steven was recently diagnosed with cancer and is feeling his mortality. 

  Steven is retired but still working. Just to make ends meet.

  You all may know him from Silver Dollar City. He is the Skillet Master at the lumber Camp.He has been there over ten years. He loves his job and all the people he works with and gets to meet. He takes great pride in his work and tries to instill those values in all his fellow workers.

  Everyone He meets is a friend. You may not always like what he has to say but I promise it is from the heart and with your best interest in mind. He doesn’t hold a grudge and believes everyone can be a good person. Steven is always there for anyone in need. He is always ready to listen. He will help anyone anyway he can. And he never ask for anything in return. And he will probably grumble about this. 

  I am starting this GoFundMe so he can see the ocean. A trip has been planned with his wife Ellen. 

When I asked her if there was anything he wanted or wanted to do. She said he has always said he wished he had seen the ocean. So we are sending him to Panama City Beach. For a four days on the beach.

 Steven has never taken a proper vacation that he didn’t have to stress about the bills when he gets back. 

 It would mean the world to Him and his wife if we raise enough money for a stress free vacation. Just once. Please help us raise enough to help them. 

Any funds not used on the vacation will be put towards missed days of work because of the cancer treatments. 

Please anything will help. And will be greatly appreciated. 

 Also. I know Steve. He would never ask for help especially for a vacation. Let’s show him that his faith in others isn’t misplaced.
