Old Elizabethans Club House Extension Fund Raiser

Dear valued members and supporters,

As many of you know, Old Elizabethans Rugby Club is a vital part of our community, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy the sport we all love. Our club has a proud history and a bright future, but in order to continue to grow and thrive, we need your help. As shown in the video, we are currently in the process of planning an extension to our clubhouse, which will provide much-needed additional space for changing, training, events, and social activities. This extension will enable us to attract even more members and visitors to our club, and to continue to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

However, to make this once-in-a-generation vision a reality, we need your support. We are reaching out to ask for your help in raising the funds necessary to make this extension a reality. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and will help to ensure the continued success and growth of Old Elizabethans Rugby Club.

To raise funds, we will be running a 'buy a brick' scheme giving the opportuntiy for members and supporters to have thier name enshrined in the club's history. Each donor giving £100 or more will have their name imprinted on the wall of the new clubhouse which will be visible to all for generations to come.

We will also be running a 'founders board' scheme where a new honours board will be erected in the new clubhouse with each individual donating £500 or more and each business donating £1,000 or more having their name inscribed on the prestigious board. (Donors can remain anonymous if desired).

As a Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) we can make use of the Gift aid scheme where we can claim from HMRC the basic rate of tax their donors have paid. Gift Aid increases the value of donations by 25%, so it means even more money goes to the cause you care about i.e. our club – and it won't cost you extra! This means for every £100 donation, the club will in fact receive £125!
