Old Leighlin Fundraiser to protect community from windfarms

In November 2023, An Bord Pleanala granted permission to Galetech to build the Whitehills windfarm which spans an area of Old Leighlin and Coolcullen despite receiving 77 observations in opposition. We have now engaged a solicitor and Barrister to work with us in our application for leave to appeal this decision.

Fundraising is ongoing and money received will be used towards our legal battle. We have been contacted by people outside of our locality that would like to make a contribution towards this fund.
