Help Old Ruts U16 Girls Rugby Team Get Game Shirts

Goal: Our Fundraising Target: £1100

Dear Player Families and Friends and Club Supporters

We need your support to help the Old Ruts Girls U16 Rugby Team reach our fundraising goal of £1100. Our primary aim is to purchase new game shirts that will allow us to continue playing with pride and retain our team's identity. Any extra funds raised beyond the target will go towards supporting U16 team costs and purchasing shared equipment for Old Ruts Girls Rugby section.

As you may know, we have been searching for a sponsor to cover the cost of our game shirts, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to find one so far.

As players and parents are aware, we will be clustering with another local club for the 2023/24 season. Playing in Old Ruts colours is a key way of maintaining our identity this year. Having game shirts means we will be able to play in Old Ruts colours for half of our games this season. The shirts will be team shirts and will remain with the U16 team year on year, rather than be retained by individual players.

It is essential to us that we can proudly represent our team and club. Your support will make it possible for us to acquire the necessary shirts quickly, ensuring we can play in club colours this upcoming and in future season.

We kindly request donations to our campaign. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will put us closer to our goal and support girls rugby at Old Ruts. We also encourage you to spread the word about our campaign and reach out to us if you know of any businesses interested in sponsoring our U16 team or our Girls Section more widely.

Note: All funds raised funds will be transferred to OLD RUTLISHIANS' ASSOCIATION: The Old Rutlishians' charity provides facilities for the playing of Sport (particularly rugby, football and cricket) for the benefit of the local community in the London Borough of Merton and surrounding areas in south west London.
