All staff and ponies/horses here at Old Tiger Stables are missing their clients/riders and cannot wait to see you all again... but in the meantime if any body would like to donate anything at all to help with the upkeep of our lovely horses we would be more than grateful.
NEWSFLASH: YOUR NAYSAYERS NEED YOU!
On April 19th, 2020 Old Tiger Stables mare Lilly was interviewed by Soham journalist Breeches Gaiter with the headline ‘RIDING SCHOOL CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19. FUNDS NEEDED FOR VITAL VETERINARY, FARRIER AND FEED DURING THESE TRAGIC TIMES.’ Hence the following exerts were taken from the Ass news paper.
Connor announced that all the staff, ponies and horses at Old Tiger Stables miss everyone dreadfully though during this lockdown continue to be cared for to the highest standard while eagerly anticipating your return to their saddles!
However Harry felt it necessary to mitigate a team meeting with his peers as due to their current unemployment status it had become very apparent that any donations possible would aide in their upkeep with every staff member and horse/pony being more than grateful for any chunk of moolah you can offer.
Apollo suggested setting up a Go Fund Me page and everyone unanimously agreed. He added that after 30 years of being top of the riding industry and being highly commended as Riding School of Year 2020 a peculiar human virus was not about sink the Old Tiger now.
Cinders sighed with relief at the thought of her human friends coming to their rescue to save them and their beloved stables and settled down for a long nap when Boo appeared. Frantically she shrieked “we’re all unemployed and still need help for unexpected injuries and ailments! Even though I’m not being ridden I could trip in the field and need veterinary intervention and what about my jabs?” Bunny cantered across to add to Boo’s hysteria “hey I need new shoes too so where is the extra cash going to come from now there’s no lessons to give our human friends and little peeps who love to play with us? I can’t walk around in my socks all day.” Smurf tried calming the (NIGHT) mares while practically stating “in addition to our health and wellbeing we still have electricity and water rates that we need help with too.” Sidney quick hoofed it over proclaiming “I’ll start an uprising if we can’t get help with our field rental as that’s our equine rights and freedom of nay speech as laid out in our Unbridled Policy Handbook. Meanwhile Indi lightened the MAN(E)IA commenting “ supplies such as shampoo, detangler, brushes, tack oil and soap are necessities too as I have a beauty regime to keep up in the off chance Taz ever realises I have one gigdyup haybale of a crush on his hunky withers.”
Lady Bea and Izzy, ever the apple-eyed match makers told Indi now was absolutely the time for love as the love of our special humans will save our hind quarters. On that note Zed bucked again at his handsome appearance in the warped mirror and ended the intense media coverage with this heartfelt statement;
“On behalf of the team myself and all the staff would like to say thank you in advance for any help and support you are able to offer and we all hope to return to full time employment as soon as possible.”
