Old Time Sailors UK Tour 2023

Ahoy me hearties!
While we take a break away from the stage through the long British winter fear not, we are working hard to be ready for the 2023 tour. We use the cold winter months ashore striving to improve all elements of the Old Time Sailors immersive experience, so we can bring you an even better, even bigger, even bolder show than ever before!
The size of our crew means we can play live with no backing tracks or recordings, and thus build our unique sound with unusual and traditional instruments, rarely seen on stage today. It means we can produce a huge variety of songs, merging multiple genres into the shanty vibe.
However, traveling with such a large crew is not without its drawbacks, not least of which is the sheer cost of traveling so extensively with so many musicians and so much equipment. In 2022 we covered over 47.000 miles and played 190 gigs in 180 days. Playing daily, and sometimes multiple shows in one day, is the only way we can cover our huge overheads and continue to bring our unique 19th-century sailor experience to the landlubbers of the UK.
In order to reach every corner of the UK, we try to play all venues large and small. Under the current financial climate, pubs are struggling. For them to continue to be able to book The Old Time Sailors we are endeavoring to keep our costs lower than inflation, offering discounted fees.
If you feel you can spare a few pounds or even more to help us in our effort to bring our show close to your home, then we would be truly grateful for your contribution.
We are excited to dock ready for next year's tour, and together we can make 2023 the best season yet! If you can't support us financially then please do consider sharing our instagram @oldtimesailors, our facebook fan page, and our website, shopping from our merchandise or purchasing advance tickets for one of our next gigs. Looking forward to seeing you very soon me hearties!
