McClarty Medical Fund

About one month ago today, the McClarty family got some news they didn't see coming. Corri's father, Bob McClarty was out on what seemed to be a normal days work when he collapsed on the job in Dawson Creek. A co-worker immediately drove him to the hospital where numourous scans and tests were completed. They got terrible news that he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Suddenly, Corri & family had to pack their things and travel to Dawson Creek, as Bob needs consistent attention and care. The tumour is unfortunately inoperable, leaving the family with uncertainty. Based on these tragic events, Bob was sent to the Cancer Clinic Facility in Kelowna to continue tests, scans and so much more to see what they could do for him. Corri and Bob made the treck to Kelowna with Bob's travel trailer where they are currently living. They still have many things that are unanswered and aren't sure of what the future holds in regards to treatment, but they do know they will be there for awhile. 

Corri also has two sisters, Bobbi (McClarty) Sloan and Shiela (McClarty) Zilinsky. They have been there to help when they can as they live very close to Kelowna where Bob is getting his treatment. However, Corri has been away from work since this happened living close to 12 hours away, providing all she can for her Dad. Financially, taking this leave from her job for her family matter is stressful. Corri is at his side every step of the way from the travel expenses, living expenses, to the food bills, and also trying to manage the bills at home. Many of you may know Corri as a caring individual who is a joy to be around. She is a hardworking individual who always supports the people in our community through fundraisers, donations, and other go fund me pages too. I have created this page today to help relieve some of this stress for her family as they hold a special place in my heart. Bob McClarty grandson, Dylan Oliarny is my boyfriend, and I would do anything to help this family.  Any amount fundraised will go towards anything they may need assistance with during this tough time.
