Oliva's Health #Emergencyjourney

Hi, my name is Karina; I am creating this fundraising for my mom Altagracia Oliva. Who recently underwent two inpatient surgeries, one on 05/10/2022 (Gastric bypass) and the second on 09/30/2022 (Cholecystectomy complicated by the probable duct of Luschka leak); for those post-surgery factors, my mom is dependent on a biliary drain. This has been a long journey; she has undergone four procedures/surgeries and has had two hospital stays; her following procedure will be on 11/29 th. I want to help her focus on healing and getting better and not worry about financial burdens like the cost of medicines, medical bills and living expenses; it doesn't take long to wipe out a bank account or create new debt. It's hard enough to go through what she is going through physically and emotionally. My grandma had to move to Georgia to take care of her until she gets better. It is also hard for her not to be able to go to work and take care of her family as she used to. If you know my mom, you know that she is always happy, with a big smile; she is also a hard-working woman that has dedicated her whole life to serving as a law enforcement officer and dedicated to her family.
