Save Oliver’s lambs from storm Isha’s battering
Donation protected
Oliver is 25 and loves his sheep. His first lambs were born spring 2023 and this year he is expecting 59!
However, last night storm Isha literally ripped his polytunnel from the ground, and this is where the lambs need for shelter or risk hypothermia. Without it, most will not survive. And insurance does not cover this temporary structure. To add to his stress, while clearing up this morning, his dad (Simon) suffered a massive heart attack and is intensive care.
Young farmers are few and far between. We desperately need people like Oliver to keep farming alive in the uk.
Please help him fund replacement suitable cover so his lovely lambs can be born safely and thrive.
Before & after
We have increased the target we need to raise as prices for a replacement tunnel have increased. Without Simon, against lambing deadlines and most importantly to guarantee the new structure, we also need to get the tunnel erected by the company which doubles the cost.
We are so grateful for any help towards this project at such a difficult emotional time.
Simon is making a remarkable recovery thanks to amazing CPR and the Cumbrian air ambulance and Middlesborough hospital teams.
