Oliver Worley Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
My name is Jacob Bennett, and I am a life scout as well as the senior patrol leader of troop 124, located in Milledgeville, Georgia. I am raising money to fund my Eagle Scout project for Camp Oliver Worley.
Oliver Worley is a property in Putnam County owned by Lockerly Arboretum and used by local schools, church groups, summer camps, and scout groups. One of the main facilities at Oliver Worley is a pavilion with bathrooms, running water, and electricity.
The pavilion doesn't have gutters, so when it rains, water runs down the roof and causes erosion on the edges of the pavilion. In addition to being unsightly, this also creates a large buildup of mud that can be slippery as well as dangerous to walk on.
For my project, I will add gravel edging around the pavilion to help counteract the effects of erosion and make it safer. The funds I raise will be used to purchase the supplies.
Thank you for your support!
