Oliver’s Adoption!

Hi my name is Christopher Martin. Back in April my wife, Kendra, and mother in law, Shelley, got a call from CPS in North Caroline asking them to travel to Shelby, NC and pick up her sisters baby that she just gave birth to. They were told that if they didn’t go get the baby, Oliver, he would be placed into foster care and it would be extremely difficult to get him out of the foster care system. 

So Kendra and Shelley jumped on a plane that evening to make the trip to go pick up baby Oliver. Kendra and I had been talking about adoption but not anytime soon. We knew before Kendra even met Oliver that we would try and adopt him. We knew in our hearts that Oliver would be better off with our family. 

Once Kendra got home,  24 hrs later, with sweet Oliver we all fell in love with him and knew he was the missing piece to our family. We have been so amazed at what a big impact a 2 day old baby could make in our lives. We are asking for y’all’s help with some of the attorney fees for the adoption of Oliver. It is way more then we were ever expecting. Any help would be greatly appreciated. An if you can’t help as we know times are tough, we ask for prayers for a smooth process!
