Oliver’s affirmation of love for Olivia

How can Olivia and I possibly thank you enough for the love and support you’ve poured on us in these days since Oliver passed away so unexpectedly? Our hearts are torn apart as we grieve the deep hole his passing has left in our lives. We so appreciate your comforting words and prayers as we continue to navigate the days and weeks ahead.

So many of you, in wanting to express your love and desire to honor Oliver, have asked where to send flowers or a gift to his favorite cause in his name. If you knew Oliver, you know that he had only one “favorite” cause in his life, one precious love—his daughter, Olivia. She was the love of his life. And he was her prince. “Hello, my Prince,” she would greet him every time he called. Like every Daddy-Prince, he wanted to support her dreams and enrich her life in every way possible. There was nothing more important to him in this world than his beautiful little girl.

And nothing would be more important to Oliver now than for his love and support for Olivia to continue past this sudden, devastating shock in her life. To help her find the future he wanted for her, a trust is being created in Olivia’s name that will serve as an ongoing affirmation of her Daddy’s love and contribute to the support she’ll need to fulfill her life potential. Olivia’s Prince may be gone, but honoring Oliver in this way will mean their dreams can continue to live.
