Oliver's Ironman for Reproductive Justice in GA

I hope to complete the Ironman 70.3 in my home state of Georgia on September 25th. I aim to use this race to support reproductive justice by donating to SisterSong. With the overturning of Roe, GA is on the verge of passing an almost full-scale ban on abortion. SisterSong has long been on the front lines fighting against this and providing essential care, resources, and education around reproductive justice.

I first encountered SisterSong in 2019 while studying human rights in Atlanta. While visiting their collective, they taught me so much, and their work immediately inspired me. Since then, they have been actively fighting legal battles against HB481 in GA - a bill first designed to challenge Roe. This bill would prevent access to abortion after only six weeks of gestation. Regardless of the results, SisterSong will always be a champion for reproductive justice in GA and across the country.
