Olivet College Red bench for Linda Jo Scott.

I'm John Randall Banks, Linda's elder son. My brother, Alan, and I are planning on putting one of those beautiful red benches on the College Square in honor of my mother. She was such a beloved member of the staff and loved teaching there. There are hundreds of alumni, professors, and staff that adored my mom. Everyone missed her, so this is an excellent way of honoring her. She kept up with hundreds of students long after they left. She remembered people from grade school and traveled to see them, with Andrew, after her retirement.

 

The picture is of her and her beloved Andrew Leat. The funds will be used to buy, install, and keep up the bench. I'm working out the details and will add more as needed.
