Olivia and Jesses Recovery

Hey guys!

For anyone that doesn’t know; my Sister’s Olivia and Jesse were in an accident on Monday night, where a drum of fuel was tipped on a fire they were standing next to resulting in the drum exploding and the girls unfortunately being set on fire. They were airlifted to the Alfred Hospital, where they are being treated. Olivia has second degree burns over her face, hands, shoulders and back and will lose her hair. Jesse was put into an induced coma as a result of her airways being burnt and swelling. She went in for surgery on Wednesday where skin grafts were placed on both hands, her chest/shoulder and under her arm. Thankfull her face did not need any. 

She is still induced until the swelling reduces in her airways and she can breathe by herself. 

The next few months will be tough, and unfortunately, while they’ve had to press pause on their lives at the moment, time keeps going, and with that comes bills, expenses and the recovery period.

I’m starting this page to try take a bit of the pressure off both girls, as well as Liv’s daughters, Winslow and Molly, so they do not have to worry about anything else than themselves and their health right now. I’m asking if anyone is feeling generous to help them out- Doesn’t matter how big or small. Anything will help at the moment. Especially seen as both will not be returning to work for quite some time.
