Olivia and LLS

It's that time of year again - I am gearing up to run the Boston Marathon! But this year, it is not about me. This year, I am running for Olivia and raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Olivia is a fun, spunky and adorable 4-year old who has been bravely battling cancer for almost a year. Olivia's and her family’s lives were turned upside down when Olivia was diagnosed with leukemia in March of 2023. No child, parent or family should ever have to endure the nightmare that is childhood cancer.

Olivia's mom, Becky, has been named a 2024 Visionary of the Year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Since Olivia's diagnosis, Becky has been using her platform to raise awareness for childhood cancer and the need for more research and funding. As a 2024 Visionary for LLS, Becky is raising money for LLS. All money raised through my efforts will be directly contributed to Becky's fundraising goal with LLS.

I cannot even begin to imagine what this journey has been like for Olivia and her family. Olivia's bravery and strength has inspired me to run for LLS and make the 26.2 mile trek for Olivia. Please consider donating or come on out on Marathon Monday to cheer me on and support Olivia and the cause!
