In loving memory of Olivia Beltran

Hello family, friends & community of Olivia Beltran, our names are Angelyne Beltran and Sandra Beltran. We are writing to you on behalf of my cousin Tonatiuh Beltran & the Beltran family.

On January 8, 2024, our beloved Olivia departed from our physical realm, so that her spirit may fly high with our ancestors. She was a beautiful, strong & proud indigenous woman with the kindest heart, a healing & brave spirit & the most gentle, loving soul. She was never afraid to speak up for the injustice of others, she gave her time & energy to creating a welcoming & safe space for the community. The light & guidance she brought to this world can never be taken away. As her family, we are heartbroken & devastated to have to say goodbye. She was a friend, a sister, a tía & above all a mother to two beautiful daughters.

My tia Olivia loved her daughters deeply & unconditionally. She fought with every fiber of her being to seek help from a system that ultimately failed to protect her & her daughters.

She emptied her pockets to give to anyone and everyone, she never failed to come to the aid of those in need. We ask for your help during this difficult time to help support my cousin, Tonatiuh & our family with donations so that we may provide our beautiful Olivia the proper send-off to the spiritual world. Her daughter Tonatiuh has a long & difficult road ahead she will have to navigate. We ask for your help to support her long-term healing along with the financial burdens she will be facing. No dollar amount is too small & simply sharing, and spreading the word would be doing us a great amount of help.

Hola familia, amigos y comunidad de Olivia Beltran, mi nombre es Angelyne Beltran y les escribo en nombre de mi prima Tonatiuh y la familia Beltran.

El 8 de enero de 2024, nuestra querida Olivia partió de nuestro reino físico, para que su espíritu vuele alto junto a nuestros ancestros. Era una mujer indígena hermosa, fuerte y orgullosa con el corazón más bondadoso, un espíritu sanador y valiente y el alma más gentil y amorosa. Nunca tuvo miedo de denunciar la injusticia de los demás; dedicó su tiempo y energía a crear un espacio acogedor y seguro para la comunidad. La luz y la guía que ella trajo a este mundo nunca podrán ser quitadas. Como su familia, estamos desconsolados y devastados por tener que despedirnos. Era amiga, hermana, tía y, sobre todo, madre de dos hermosas hijas.

Mi tía Olivia amaba a sus hijas profunda e incondicionalmente. Luchó con cada fibra de su ser para buscar ayuda de un sistema que finalmente no logró protegerla a ella ni a sus hijas.

Vació sus bolsillos para dar a todos y cada uno, nunca dejó de acudir en ayuda de los necesitados. Le pedimos su ayuda durante este momento difícil para ayudar a mi prima Tonatiuh y a nuestra familia con donaciones para que podamos brindarle a nuestra hermosa Olivia la despedida adecuada al mundo espiritual. Su hija Tonatiuh tiene un camino largo y difícil por delante que tendrá que recorrer. Le pedimos su ayuda para apoyar su curación a largo plazo junto con las cargas financieras que enfrentará. Ninguna cantidad de dinero es demasiado pequeña y simplemente compartirla y correr la voz nos sería de gran ayuda.
