"Olivia Packer is going to Berlin, Germany!"

Hi family and friends,

I am a senior at UNC-Charlotte getting ready to participate in my Study Abroad Program this summer. This overseas trip is a required curriculum of study before graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree in International Studies, with a concentration in German.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to go to beautiful and historic Berlin, Germany, where I will be attending the prestigious Humboldt Universitat. I am also looking forward to visiting several of Berlin's iconic sites, such as the Berlin Cathedral, the Berlin Wall Memorial, Checkpoint Charlie, and Berliner Fernsehturm Tower, and many others. This trip will allow me to experience Germany's culture firsthand.

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte has partnered with AIFS (American Institute for Foreign Study) to coordinate this program for its students; however, all expenses are left up to the student. The total cost of the program is $11,000. This includes registration and application fees, airfare, tuition, room and board, a meal plan, tours, transportation, and all academic-related expenses.

I am self-supported by being employed as an RA (Resident Advisor) at the University and by my loving parents, as well as the assistance of Grants and Scholarships which leaves a balance of $5,000 (due by March 30th, 2023). I'm scheduled to leave on June 12th, 2023.

I would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to contribute to my fundraiser to assist in reaching my financial goal. Any gift will be a blessing and all gifts are greatly appreciated!
