Olivia Lapham

As many of you know by now, two months ago, one of our Edward Jones family members suffered a life-changing event in her family. BOA Sharon Lapham's daughter Olivia was a happy, healthy 25-year-old woman with the whole world ahead of her. She worked as an Esthetician at a salon in Brighton, loved hanging out with friends, going to concerts, traveling, and doting over her two dogs, Oakley and Luna. On September 14, while driving home, her life changed forever. Olivia was involved in a head-on collision which has rendered her paralyzed from the waist down. She underwent two surgeries to stabilize her spine and has spent the last six weeks in the hospital recovering from those surgeries and starting the long process of rehabilitation and navigating her new life in a wheelchair.
The accident has changed Olivia's life moving forward. She will require months, possibly years of physical and occupational therapy to reach a level where she can lead an independent life. She hopes to be able to return to work at some point as she gains more of that independence,
Every contribution will help cover the costs of Olivia's medical care and home care, which may not be fully covered or covered at all by insurance. There are also clinical trials for people with spinal cord injuries and other therapies that she hopes to take advantage of in the future. The need for adaptive equipment, clothing, and supplies will also be necessary for the rest of her life.

Thank you in advance for your love, kindness and generosity.
