Olivia Maldonado - Funeral and Legal Expenses

January 18, 2024:

The man who killed my sister has been captured!!! The family was thrilled to get this news this morning. Now the hands of justice can take charge and hold this man accountable for the beautiful life he destroyed. We continue to ask for prayers as we see the justice system build their case and keep this man off the streets forever! Please also continue to share this GoFundMe as we still have a lot of legal expenses ahead of us to secure the future of Olivia’s daughter, pay off the funeral expenses. Olivia’s voice has been silenced, but her family will make sure she’s never forgotten. We will now be her voice to make sure justice is served to the fullest extent of the law. 

January 16, 2024:

Oliva was laid to rest on Saturday, January 13th. The monster who did this to her is still on the loose and needs to be captured. Please continue to share this GoFundMe - the family is considering hiring a private detective to help find and capture this man. All of your condolences, prayers, and support is much appreciated by the entire family.

Update: January 11, 2024:

There will be a candlelight vigil at the Arcadia flea market (where this tragedy occurred) tonight at 7pm to honor Olivia. This vigil will also be raising additional funds for her burial and legal fees to attain guardianship of her 10 year old daughter. Due to extenuating circumstances, the legal fees for her daughter will be substantial. Thank you everyone for your kind generosity. Esta noche a las 7 p.m. habrá una vigilia con velas en el mercadillo de Arcadia (donde ocurrió esta tragedia) para honrar a Olivia. Esta vigilia también recaudará fondos adicionales para su entierro y honorarios legales para lograr la tutela de su hija de 10 años. Debido a circunstancias atenuantes, los honorarios legales de su hija serán sustanciales. Hola mi nombre es Rigoberto. Y les pido su colaboracion para poder cubrir los gastos del funeral de mi querida hermana Olivia Maldonado. Que fue asesinada a sangre fria por su exnovio. Quien aun esta frofugo.

My sister was brutally murdered by an ex boyfriend on January 7th. She leaves behind a 10 year old daughter, 21 year old son, 4 siblings, and a heartbroken mother. This senseless act happened just 3 weeks after burying our father. The monster who did this is still on the run and we ask for prayers that he is promptly captured and brought to justice.
