Olivia Needs A Motorhome
Donation protected
Hey there, my name’s Olivia. I’m a transgender standup comic, and I’ve been living in my minivan for almost two years. I could really use some help, so I’ll make this brief.
The owner of my favorite comedy club, Echoes Under Sunset, is selling his 1991 Rexhall Airex motorhome for an amazingly cheap price. I would really like to buy it from him, but having been unemployed for several months money is hard to come by. Which is why I’m here. I need to raise $8000 to purchase the RV and cover whatever maintenance it may need over the months ahead, and I need your help to do it.
I can’t stress enough what a huge Improvement this would be to my quality of life. I would finally have constant access to desperately needed amenities, including a bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower; as well as a kitchenette with an oven, stovetop, microwave, and best of all a freezer and refrigerator. It also includes a generator so I can run all of these appliances without draining my battery. Not to mention the social benefits of having a living space that can accommodate friends coming to visit. Basically, I would be moving from a cramped, overheated prison cell to a one-bedroom apartment that I’d own.
So please, if you have some money to spare, even a dollar, consider donating. And please share this among your friends, or to anyone who might be willing and able to help. Every little bit gets me one step closer to a better life.
Thank you!
