Olivia's Cancer Care and Support

2/24/24:

Over the past week Olivia has been having extreme neck pain that muscle relaxers and high dose anti-inflammatories were not helping. She got a CBC done and her white blood cell count was 211,000. (Normal is 3-10K)She went to the ER in Bloomington and based on her CT scan and lab results indicates she has lymphoblastic lymphoma which is a combination of lymphoma and leukemia. She stayed over-night and was then transferred by ambulance to Barnes ICU this morning. She will be getting a bone marrow biopsy and lymph node biopsy on Monday. She will be at Barnes for 3-4 weeks as a plan of attack is formed. Please consider donating to help cover medical and other unexpected expenses as the Bieri family goes through this difficult time.
