Ollies cancer surgery

I want to introduce my grandson to you.

Ollie was born May 31st, 2021 to my amazingly strong daughter, Helena. She was 19 at the time and just starting her family. Ollie was born with a cancerous tumor in his left hand. It's name is "Infantile Fibrosarcoma". He started on an experimental drug called Larotrectinib when he was just 18 days old and has taken it faithfully by mouth since. This medication has truly been a miracle, and in my opinion, will be an incredible tool to fight cancer.

With Ollie though, the medication only shrinks it back to its base layer. It does not cure it. If he misses a dose or two, his cancer starts to grow.

So, it has been decided that the best course of treatment for him is to have part of his hand amputated. In about 3 weeks, they will remove at least 2 of his fingers from his left hand, possibly the entire hand.

Since Ollies birth, Helena met Nick and his 2 boys, Parker and Oakley. They have a very busy household with 3 toddler boys!

There are going to be many trips to the IWK, and their finances are very tight. If there is any way that you could help them through this difficult time, it would be greatly appreciated.
