Ollie's Smile: Help Us Reach Our Goal

This is my son Ollie. Ollie was born with pfieffers syndrome which is a syndrome that affects skull and facial bones. Ollie has had MANY surgeries in his short 8 years on earth. Due to this syndrome Ollie has recently started to have a lot of work done to his teeth. Ollie had to have his 4 top teeth removed at an early age due to his underbite and severe breaking of the teeth. Because they were removed so early bone has formed over his adult teeth and they will not come in on their own. Because he is missing these 4 teeth he struggles to bite and chew properly. After being referred to a specialty orthodontist they decided that the best course of action would be to start braces and do oral surgery to bring down those teeth that he needs. To start braces we had to remove 3 teeth. The next step was braces. Now we are onto the oral surgery part where we are going to go in and locate those impacted teeth attach wires to braces and slowly pull them down. Due to all of our exhausted efforts to bring Ollie to a point where he can comfortably chew we have found that we have already maxed out all dental benefits for the year. Not only have we had to pay $3000 out of pocket for braces that he NEEDS, but we are faced with another bill for the oral surgery. The oral surgery has maxed out benefits and we are left to pay for the rest. While most was paid with insurance we still owe $1400 just for the surgery and for him to be put under to make sure that he is comfortable and fear free. We have drained all of our savings on phase 1 of this long dental journey for Ollie. We are asking for ANY help. These braces and surgeries are not for fun but to simply help Ollie live a relatively normal and pain free life. I hate asking for help but I will do ANYTHING for my child.
