Hello, Family!
Olympic Karate and Sport Center (OKSC) is a small dojo in the Meyerland neighborhood of Houston, Texas. As you all know, the current pandemic has caused a lot of stress for small businesses. While the government has promised to provide relief in the form of grants for struggling businesses, many, such as our own, have not received any sort of aid to help cope with the losses and damages brought upon by Covid-19. Our dojo has been closed since mid-March, and we are nearing our third month without students, income to take care of the rent, supplies, maintenance, and for the salaries of our employees. With the reopening of businesses in Texas and the start of summer vacation, we hope to slowly reopen our doors and welcome our OKSC family back. However, we do not anticipate reopening without adequate support from external sources since we were unable to secure relief funds from the stimulus package. Therefore, any assistance on your part would be greatly appreciated.
