Omega's Emergency Relocation Fund

Donation protected
I'm a full- time first-generation American college student at Howard University. I was laid off from my job as a waitress/bartender in December, due to DC closing indoor dining. After almost 4 weeks of calling, filing appeals and just getting the run around from unemployment services I was denied emergency pandemic assistance. In an attempt to save money that needs to be put towards paying my tuition at Howard University, I've decided to move out of my apartment and back to New York with my family.  I have 2 elderly parents who already work full time to help me pay for school and they are the primary caregivers for my 80-year-old grandmother. This is a financial burden that simply I cannot depend on them to take care of for me. My landlord has agreed to let me end my lease early without extra charges,  so I can move in March but I still need help with the final expenses (i.e partial rent for March and moving materials). I know times are hard on everyone but I would be more than grateful to anybody who can donate or share my story.
