Omeo Golf Flood Repairs

Omeo Golf Club Inc is the 100% volunteer run not-for-profit body running the public Omeo Golf Course. This course is a vital sports facility for all age groups in the Omeo Region and our many visitors. It currently has too many water hazards and unmarked bunkers!

Since September 2021 we have suffered 3 major and 2 less severe floods, the most recent being on 14th January 2022. This has been the wettest period in memory. Large parts of the course and roads have been washed away. This time it is too much for the volunteers to handle without special expertise and equipment. Due to COVID cancellations of the 2020 & 2021 Omeo High Country Caravan & RV Muster funds for outside help are short.

We seek your help as a donor . Contributions will specifically be spent on:

1. Fill materials for internal road repairs

2. Hire of crewed earthmoving equipment

3. Purchase of drainage materials to channel water

All the flood debris tidy up and mud clearing will be done by the volunteer crew as things dry out.
