Omni Rooms Fire Fundraiser

Hello, my name is Ty,

On the 16th of October I received the awful news that my partner Jodie’s ,music studio , Omni Rooms , had been in a very serious fire. A fire of which we later found out had consumed all of the contents of the main room of the studio. This room included thousands of pounds worth of equipment, structural work that Jodie had done for soundproofing, and countless other possessions of which are irreplaceable.

The time, effort and energy Jodie has put into creating this space will never be able to be replaced. The sleepless nights, stress and heartache of starting a business just to see this awful event happen to take it all away when it’s in full swing and thriving is completely heartbreaking.

If any of you have had the pleasure of coming into Omni Rooms to either work with Jodie recording, rehearse with your band, or even just to see the space, you will all know how much time, effort and money she has put into creating a space that is unlike any other. Perfectly curated and painstakingly thought out to bring a beautiful place to create.

As well as Jodie losing her business and all of it’s equipment. Her residents at the Studio have also lost their instruments to the fire. Last Hyena, IOTA, Empire of Dust and others have all lost the majority of their bands equipment. These people and bands made this studio what it was and shaped it into being the force of creativity that it ended up becoming. This equipment is unfortunately not covered on the insurance. This is why we are asking for some help. We need to get these musicians back out and doing what they do best as soon as possible and help Jodie get back on her feet and help rebuild the studio from scratch back and better than ever!

“Thank you to everyone who has supported me and Omni Rooms. I feel so lucky to have ever even had the opportunity to own the studio, meet and make music with everyone who walked through the door. Now I look back I can’t quite believe how far it came. I just keep thinking I was here once before I had nothing and I can do this again but for now my main priority is to help these musicians get back on their feet so please donate any which way you can and we really appreciate your kind words and support during this difficult time!”
