Insulin Pump Fundraiser

my name is Elizabeth and I am t2 diabetic insulin dependant. I am currently intaking multiple injections a day and it just doesn’t help, for this reason my endocrinologist and other medical team members feel it’s medically necessary for me to get onto an insulin pump. We have decided on the tandem pump as it is the only one that pairs with my continuous monitoring system (dexcom). OW discretionary unit has offered to cover $3150, leaving me with $3846 to try and come up with. I am asking for help to cover $3150, as originally the pump I was going with would have been $6300 total, however my endocrinologist doesn’t want me on the Omnipod pump as it doesn’t pair with the Dexcom. Being as I am on disability for many chronic illnesses and disabilities, I have no way to come up with this amount on my own. I sell Scentsy to try and earn money on the side but sales are far from exceptional. I also recently started part time work to try and offset the cost. Please help if you can.

Once I have the PDM, ODSP has already agreed to pay for the pods every 3 months and the insulin needed is already covered.

If you can help it would mean a lot! I’m happy to show proof when the pump has been paid for!
