On Clyde's Side - We FIGHT Together

Family and Friends,

We are here to ask for your support. In December 2023, our great friends' eight-year-old son, Clyde, was diagnosed with a 3cm cancerous tumor on his spinal cord. He has undergone biopsies, MRI scans, insane amount of bloodwork, and surgery. Clyde is receiving incredible medical care at Children's National in DC and completed his first 6-week round of proton radiation in February.

Unfortunately, Clyde's most recent MRI scans in April, weren't what anyone hoped for, and expected. The doctors were concerned about spots in his brain. Clyde underwent a craniotomy to remove abnormal tissue and send it off to pathology. He will undergone more intensive treatment to include targeting the inflammation, chemotherapy, and radiation.

Pediatric cancer is a long and sometimes lonely fight, and the Hicks family need all our support.

Clyde and the Hicks family are facing a courageous battle, and do so with kindness, seeking out joy thru sports and Boy Scouts, and spending time with friends, family, and fur-family.
