On Site AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Hi,

We've been thinking for a while that a Defibrillator would be a great addition to our first aid facilities at the yard, but the cost of a unit is extremely high! Please help us to cover the cost and potentially save a life.

Falls from horseback always carry the risk of causing Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and at the moment our nearest AED is at Dwyran Surgery which is a good 15 minute round trip. Statistically, the sooner an AED is used the greater the chances of survival.

This unit would also be made available to local residents during our opening hours.
