ONCE IN A LIFETIME OFFICIAL REAL MADRID TRIP

Donation protected
Academy coaches from Madrid & Kaptiva Sports have selected Joseph Seward Jr. from Tsartlip First Nation as an MVP (best skills & behaviour) from his Real Madrid soccer camp in Canada. They have continued to offer him three chances to attend the exclusive Real Madrid Foundation Selected Players events in Madrid, Spain. These events have occurred at the official Real Madrid soccer training facilities in Spain and have led to an even bigger and more exciting opportunity!

Joseph is a tremendously talented young athlete who recently competed in the Great Britain IVF Va'a World Sprints 2022 in London. His family and community are working hard to fundraise for his next upcoming trip. Joseph is a young man who is actively learning about his culture and language in his home territory and has become a role model and inspiration to many!

In his dads words:

"This is a shot for Joseph to get exposed to that lifestyle and also to display his talent in front of the world's best-coaching staff. Joseph received the player of the day award at his one-week camp in Victoria. They chose one per day! He worked hard and has earned this opportunity. I’m proud and honoured to watch his growth in the game and to see his passion. We respectfully ask for your support in his travels."

In July 2022, Joseph attended a week-long clinic in Victoria B.C. with Real Madrid training staff, delegated to tour North America to work with youth. He was selected to attend the Real Madrid academy to train for a week. He had academy training, toured the Real Madrid training facility and the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the playing grounds of the Spanish giants, and had a meet n greet with Real Madrid players. He also toured the city and met new people worldwide, playing in a mini-tournament against local kids in Spain.

At the end of this initial clinic, Joseph was invited to another week-long intensive clinic for further assessment. He attended this second assessment in March 2023 where he was invited back again for a third two-week assessment in July 2023, which he just returned home from. He has now been offered an opportunity to attend an International school in Spain with a focus on developing his soccer playing skills further for the upcoming school year!

The Real Madrid Foundation was founded in 1997, with the goal of bringing the social, cultural, and athletic values of the club into the service of the public. The Foundation represents the Club’s soul and the vehicle through which the Club gives back to the community all it has received throughout its 113-year history.

The Real Madrid Foundation develops projects with social and formative purposes based on its nine key values: Leadership, Self-Control, Humility, Fellowship, Effort, Teamwork, Respect, Tolerance and Solidarity.
These events provide the ultimate Real Madrid pro player experience and allow players to play at the top of their game.

Kaptiva Sports is a Global Sports Management that helps organizations build customer loyalty, have a better exposure and reach a specific goal through sports events organization. Also owns one of the best elite soccer academy in Madrid and Barcelona.

Costs for three clinics in Spain, including travel/flights and now the cost to attend school in Madrid have been ~$13,000 so far with a new goal of $60,000 for the upcoming school year of training. Please support this young athlete with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
