Meet Alaina Nelson, she is a typical fun, loving, and energetic 5-year-old girl. Just days before Thanksgiving, Alaina was diagnosed with leukemia and began to undergo treatment immediately. Alaina has a 3-year-old sister and twin 7-month- old brothers, her parents Scott and Amy are wonderful, hardworking, and devoted parents. As you can imagine this young family requires a great deal of guidance, love, and care. Like all loving and caring parents, Scott and Amy want the absolute best care for Alaina and they are preparing for a long and very difficult battle to make certain Alaina enjoys a full and healthy life. Many people have asked what they can do to help - and any little bit will be appreciated in making sure that Alaina is able to be cared for amazingly over this hard journey while Scott and Amy continue to care for their entire family.
