One Band-One Sound: Allderdice, Brashear & Obama

Brother Melvin Hubbard El is the City of Pittsburgh's One-Band-One Sound Project organizer, representing an opportunity for students to use their voice and performance skills to touch communities beyond Pittsburgh in their role as City Ambassadors.

A partnership with the Mayor's Office and the Pittsburgh Public School District through the sponsorship of Student City Ambassadors offers an opportunity to combine three PPS bands to represent the City of Pittsburgh in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, DC, on May 29, 2023. This partnership will collaborate with Pittsburgh Allderdice, Brasher, and Obama Highschools' marching bands.

The Children arrived in DC and performed beautifully. WE ARE STILL RAISING FUNDS TO PAY FOR A FEW LOANS THAT WE KINDLY RECEIVED. Thank you for your continued support!
