One Breath at a Time- Cannon Family

With the permission of Amelia Cannon, I have started this fundraiser to benefit the family as they are focusing every second on each breath Aurora takes till recovery.

Three year old Aurora Cannon, is battling severe respiratory distress in the Pediatric ICU at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital due to COVID and pneumonia. Her family did everything RIGHT in protecting their little family including vaccines, mask wearing, and distancing- but children under 12 cannot receiver the vaccine yet. Amelia, Auroras mother is an emergency room nurse in the same hospital her child is struggling just to breath. She cares for numerous COVID patients daily, the overwhelming majority electing to have not receive the vaccines for various reasons. She understand doubts but knew as a frontline worker her job was to protect her family.

Aurora was admitted needing oxygen and over the past several days is now on BIPAP therapy with every hope to avoid intubation and a ventilator.

I am asking donations to directly benefit their family as they are away from work to be at her side every moment. Donations will be used directly by family for medical, food, childcare, transportation and any other expenses the family needs due to missed work.

More importantly, we ask for PRAYERS.
