A little Backstory:
Many of you may remember that we had the opportunity to purchase a small shuttle bus vehicle for One Hallelujah during the Pandemic to be used for going to minister to people who were shut in, or bring them to us. We also, at the time had a desire to create a Mobile Christmas Caroling Concert. Well that vehicle fell through and we decided to move our efforts in another direction.
When my father passed away in 2022 we started a memorial youth fund in his name to come up positive faith based programs for our wonderful young people. One year ago our daughter Gracie felt strongly that she wanted to create a youth group which focused on Bible Study, Community Service, and Fellowship. This has been a tremendous success. We have a robust group of some wonderful kids learning, growing and serving.
One Hallelujah and The George Goeller Memorial Youth Fund funds and supports all of their activities.
This year we were able to get a large group license to show the Sight and Sound production of “David” at our Barn Facility. The community came out in droves to these special presentations. One Hallelujah and our youth group did all the work. As a result of this success, One Hallelujah was able to take the entire group to Lancaster, Pa to see their newest show “Daniel”. However, in order to facilitate the amount of kids traveling with us, we had to rent an RV.
The trip was a great success and we had the idea that we would love to be able to do more of these trips. Not just for kids, but adults as well!
