One hit after another

Hi, my name is Kaelani. Our family has had a couple of years of hit and after hit. In May 2022, my father in law suddenly passed away, in September of 2022 our dog died suddenly, in November I had knee surgery for a badly torn meniscus, a week after that surgery I re-tore the meniscus in the same leg. That second year started to heal until I was injured at work when a student accidentally ran into me. L&I is fighting me on the claim and we are getting substantial bills from the surgery that was necessary after the third tear. My son was taken to Children’s Hospital on June 26 for low O2 levels and had Eustachian tubes put in at Children’s on July 7. My husband has surgery scheduled on July 20 to remove two hernias. Our furnace broke down and we had to replace it. Our bathroom flooded due to a small leak and we now have water damage that will need to be taken care of. Our home owners insurance has a $2,000 deductible. To say that life is feeling overwhelming is an understatement. We are normally a very independent family focused on managing our life and not needing help, but we are at a point where we need help. Please consider donating to help us out.
