You're donation is really an investment. Any money that you give towards this purchase will be matched in Energy Exchange (E2) currency. When you make the donation and complete the membership process, then you will be credited the same amount in Energy Exchange. For example, if you donate $100 and become a member of One Love (which is an additional $100 fee) then 100E2 will be credited to your account. Currently, there is nothing that you can purchase with this currency but soon we will have a barter and trade system. Your donation will be credits that you can use in our One Love system.
One Love would like to put the rubber to the road and test out our game plan of creating a One Love PMA/ cafe/ dispensary. We are seeking funding to the purchase and renovation of our first physical location (proposed location: 602 N Lawe St. Appleton WI).
Why purchase?
Part of the documents required to get a mortgage state that if we are growing or selling illegal substances from the location then our mortgage will be voided. Although we are not growing or selling illegal substances (as they are sacraments through our religion) we do not want to risk losing our location or any legal complications that could arise from a bank loan and dispensary combination.
Additionally, we cannot expect any landlord to rent to us knowing that their own mortgage would be at risk. We need to take on this potential risk directly, and minimize the risk by having the space paid and placed in a trust.
Likewise, it will be a great success for us to purchase it as this building would be the first space put into the One Love Trust that will be owned by the Trustees/ Members of One Love. This would become a shared Lightworker clubhouse for members as well as a dispensary for Sacred Plant Medicines available to members by donation. The income we receive from the donations will go towards purchasing our next location which would be an intentional living community/ retreat center where we can host plant medicine ceremonies. This will be the first step to using the divine gifts of Mother Earth to buy back Mother Earth.
