One Punch Hull & East Yorkshire

Donation protected
Hi.

On Wednesday 22nd May 2024 my self and a friend Shaun are going to undertake a Charity walk from Hull to St James Park in Newcastle walking along the East Coast covering around 129 miles in total, this will be undertaken over a 5 day period averaging 28 miles per day.

We have chosen to do this for One Punch Hull & East Yorkshire as Shaun him self was a victim of a One Punch attack in December 2019 suffering various facial breaks, although the breaks have healed the long term effects are still present to this day. Unfortunately at the time Shaun didn't really have anyone to turn/talk too other than friends and family.

Steve, Debbie, Naomi and Daughter Ella's story began when Scott died from a One Punch Attack. His family although devastated by the events of that night, are passionate to raise awareness of these needless one punch attacks, have set up this charity to raise awareness, educate people on the risks and alternatives and offer support for other families going through similar situations.

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve and Debbie recently to discuss the charity walk and listened to how much hard work the whole family and friends are putting in to the charity with longer term aspirations of opening up a One Punch Hull & East Yorkshire Hub in the town centre and myself and Shaun agreed that we would like to try and help just a little to help that dream become possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read the above story, if you can please share this to spread the word of the event and any donations towards this would be greatly appreciated and go a long way in helping One Punch Hull & East Yorkshire.
