Ongoing Support and Community Care for Rana

Hi and thank you so much for being here! I am raising funds for my friend while she recovers from a bad gastritis flare, on top of multiple chronic illnesses.

Rana is a Black, disabled artist who is diagnosed with chronic gastritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndrome, osteoarthritis, and polycystic ovary syndrome.

Combined with this current gastritis flare, all of these health conditions make it difficult for Rana to create art (her sole source of income) at the pace required to generate stable income at this time.

I created this fundraiser so that we could provide some ongoing support to her as she recovers from this bad flare.

These funds will be used for medical and living expenses.
