Onion River Outdoors Flood Relief
Donation protected
Onion River Outdoors and the whole downtown of Montpelier, Vermont, was inundated with flood waters on July 10-11. The waters filled our basement and rose to 27" inside our shop. With the help of an army of friends, customers, our staff, and kind people we don't even know, we are in the process of hoeing out, cleaning what can be salvaged, and saying goodbye to all the muddy, greasy, destroyed items.
Despite efforts to move valuable items out of harm's way as the storm approached, we lost the majority of our inventory, along with work benches, tools, computers, and other equipment which won't be covered by insurance. We will need to replace most, if not all of it, as we work toward reopening our doors. Most importantly, we are committed to continuing to pay our amazing staff who have shown up every day to shovel and lug and wash and sort and help us try to put the place back in order.
We appreciate any help you can give as we rebuild.
Thank you! ❤ Jen and Kip Roberts
