Distance Learning Support for Filipino Youth

When the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the transition to online learning, many Filipino students were affected and challenged financially to acquire the gadgets needed to aid in their learning. 

Tech for Filipino Youth Organization (TFYO), a non-profit community organization, was founded in December 2020. Our mission is to raise awareness of the imbalance of education opportunities among the Filipino youth and to bridge the gap by supporting the less fortunate with the tools they need to aid them in the new mode of distance learning.

In 2020, we were able to raise enough funds to provide 147 students with tablets they needed to access their online learning, and 2 3-in-1 printers to schools in Zamboanga and Davao. This 2021, we aim to help even more students in their education, and we hope you can support us in our cause.
