Only if you want and can help! Goose is my child

UPDATE: the price of his appointment is going to be a bit higher than we expect, so we’ve raised the goal :( 

Hi! As most of you know Goose is my 3 year old cat who I love more than anything. He has had a limp for a few weeks now, but I was told by a vet there was nothing to worry about unless it got worse. We were away for a week and things quickly progressed. The past few days have been rough for him… his left paw has swollen to almost double its size. So I plan to take him to the vet Monday, January the 8th. I don't know yet if he requires surgery, antibiotics or worse. so I do not have an exact amount. (any extra money will be refunded directly from me to you) I don’t take any pride in asking anybody for money, but only if you are capable and willing to help us out any amount is appreciated as I’ve recently been laid off from work and have been scrambling around the city to find any work in my area, but sadly to no avail. Goose is basically me and my girlfriend’s child and after losing her childhood cat and best friend to congestive heart failure less than a year ago, this is very hard to go through.
