Vet bills for Jess

Onnie and Jess were hiking in the Tahoe mountains last weekend when Jess suffered a puncture wound in her foot of unknown origin resulting in fever and severe swelling of her foot. The inflammation spread up her leg requiring removal of the necrotic tissue and heroic measures to save her leg. Jess is being treated at US Davis where they are still trying to get the fever and infection under control. It is still unknown whether they can save her leg.
